The Trust supports the arts and Sutton's heritage in their widest sense. Grants have ranged from awards to the Civic Society in respect of blue commemorative plaques and restoration of the Royal Sutton Coldfield Town signs, provision of the Town Hall's tiered seating, staging, lights and sound equipment and funds for the Sutton Coldfield Research Society to analyse and catelogue thousands of pieces of Roman pottery discovered in a kiln in the garden of a local resident.
The Sutton Coldfield Philharmonic and Choral Societies have received significant help towards production costs for over 35 years and Sutton Arts and Highbury theatres have been supported with major extension and renovation of premises projects.
