SCHOOL CLOTHING GRANTS

The closing date for receipt of applications for the 2024 School Clothing Scheme was 4pm on Thursday 13 June 2024 and we are no longer accepting new applications. The scheme will open again in March 2025.  Please check the website nearer the time for further details.

Who may apply?

Parents/guardians of children at Primary and/or Secondary School can apply if they are:

  1. A current resident of one of the Sutton Coldfield Constituency Electoral Wards, ie - Sutton Four Oaks, Sutton Mere Green, Sutton Reddicap, Sutton Roughley, Sutton Trinity, Sutton Vesey, Sutton Walmley & Minworth, Sutton Wylde Green;
    and
  2. In receipt of any one of the following support payments
  • Income Support
  • Child Tax Credit
  • Working Tax Credit
  • Job Seeker's Allowance
  • Employment and Support Allowance
  • Universal Credit

When and how to apply?

Applications forms are available in local schools, on request by contacting the trust or downloaded and printed off from the website 

Applications must be completed in full, signed by the applicant and stamped by the School that issued it. and include a copy of the relevant proof of benefit.

What is the value of the Grant?

The value of the Grant is currently £100 per child.

How is the Grant paid?

Grants are made by issuing vouchers that can only be used at Clive Mark Schoolwear, Boldmere and/or Crested Schoolwear, Sutton Coldfield  

Vouchers for successful applications will be sent to the issuing School at the beginning of July for distribution before the end of the school year.
